Our client is looking for someone to fill this role who has experience in FMCG Trade Marketing. Sales or Brand Marketing to work with products that have an established presence in the UK trade.
Knowledge of the On Trade is important, as is the ability to work with a highly experienced sales team and their customers.
You must be able to influence people at all levels and be skilled in the development and delivery of trade marketing activity.
Most of the activity will focus on the On Trade although there will an involvement with other Trade sectors.
This role is home based-ideally South West of London

To work for a major distributor of spirits in the UK managing one of their major multiple grocery accounts.You will have to develop a joint business plan in line with the customer and company's aspirations. You will naturally work closely with both companies' internal organisations to meet challenging requirements.
You will have full autonomy to manage this customer, with P&L responsibility. It is essential that you have category management experience: substantial account management experience, preferably having sold high profile branded spirits within the grocery trade.
Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrably high level of numerical ability is essential.

This role is working for an exclusive agency house, managing a range of French Wines. Whilst not a classic Brand Management role, such experience will be useful
The role demands substantial involvement with the sales team and their customers, along with the development of specific On Trade promotional activity for them.
For this challenging role it is essential that you have worked in France for a producer of fine wines: are fluent in both spoken and business French and also have experience of sales in the UK Drinks market.
